How much does gastric surgery cost?

Treatment for a bariatric procedure can be expensive and complex to understand. Over the last 15 years at CWLS we have made it as simple as possible for you. We understand that every patient is in a unique position and you will be given an estimated quote of the fees and charges before your visit.

CWLS charges a ‘Service Fee’ that allows us to cover all the additional costs related to;

• Surgeons
• Surgical assistants
• Pre-operative medical specialists
• Administration & hospital bookings
• Dieticians
• Nursing support
• Psychologists
• Medicare claiming

A detailed and informed financial consent will be provided at your initial consultation with our Australian trained and internationally experienced surgeons

Under special circumstances (if your BMI is greater than 40 or BMI of greater than 35 with co-morbidities), our patients can apply to access their superannuation to fund either a portion of or the complete total of their costs.

We can certainly assist you with the paperwork required to start the process during your initial consultation with our Surgeons. Certain criteria needs to be met in order for you to be considered and approved.
