Mr. Hamish Shilton – Bariatric and Upper GI Surgeon, Melbourne

Mr. Hamish Shilton is a Melbourne-based specialist in bariatric and upper gastrointestinal surgery. He graduated from Monash University in 2007 and completed his Fellowship in General Surgery in 2017.

Following his general surgical training, Mr. Shilton undertook further subspecialty training in Upper GI and Obesity Surgery in New Zealand and the United Kingdom through the Australian & New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association (ANZGOSA).

He has a particular interest in laparoscopic bariatric procedures, including sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Mr. Shilton is part of the surgical team at Complete Weight Loss Solutions and operates at Cabrini Hospital Malvern.

He works closely with patients to discuss suitable surgical options and provide ongoing support throughout their weight loss journey.
