Mr. Dan Foley – Bariatric and General Surgeon, Melbourne

Mr. Dan Foley is a Melbourne-based general surgeon with a special interest in bariatric and upper gastrointestinal surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2008 and undertook his specialist surgical training primarily at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

Following completion of his Fellowship in General Surgery, Mr. Foley pursued further training in Upper GI surgery at Monash Medical Centre, and gained additional experience in the United Kingdom at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London.

His practice focuses on weight loss procedures including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and the Allurion Balloon. He operates primarily at Epworth Hospital – Richmond and is committed to working with patients to explore the most appropriate surgical options for their individual needs.
